- We use biomass available at Jalinga for our compost production and our own compost technology.
- Every year we produce 3500MT of final compost, 6000MT of green matter, pruning litter, weeds etc. from the tea plantation is used as raw material for our Biochar Project and on farm compost.
- Jalinga is the 1st tea estate in the world to earn Carbon Credits by giving all the 4000 tea workers a zero emission cookstove, project registered with Atmosfair Germany.
- As of now the cookstove still uses 50% wood, but now with the help of R & D, we are going ahead with Biomass Pellet Cooking Stoves which uses no wood and has zero carbon emissions!

- We have conducted trials on 3 hectares of land with a control group (general compost only) and 3 different treatments with biochar (general compost mixed with virgin biochar, general compost mixed with urine-activated biochar, and co-composted biochar).

- Worked at Fidelity Investments, Boston and at Weikfield Foods, Pune (General Manager, Exports, handling exports of baking products and organic green tea to North America, UK, Middle East and Africa)
- Converted Jalinga Tea Estate to the single largest sustainable organic tea estate in India. 1st Carbon Neutral certified tea estate in India.
